
DO’s
- Remove your bandage in 10 hours or if saniderm was used, leave it on for 3-5 days.
- After bandage is removed, wash the tattoo with warm water and anti-bacterial soap using only your fingertips. Do not scrub.
- Air dry for 5-10 minutes
- Apply a very small amount of Aquaphore and lightly rub in completely…
- The tattoo must be able to breathe!
- Wash hands before and after cleaning and treating your tattoo in order to avoid infection or contamination. Consult a doctor if an infection occurs.
- Wash and treat at least 2 times a day for 2 weeks.
- Re-bandaging is highly discouraged. If recovering is necessary, a sterile bandage or dressing should be used.
DON’Ts (FOR 2 WEEKS!)
- Do Not: Soak in the tub or shower.
- Do Not: let the shower spray directly on the tattoo.
- Do Not go into: Hot tubs, pools, lakes, tanning beds, and direct sunlight.
- Do Not: Let clothing or bandage rub.
- Do Not: Rub, pick or scratch your tattoo
